There has never been a more exciting time to join the Youth Development League.
We are expanding rapidly in order to achieve our aim of offering more competitive match opportunities for 16 to 19 year olds across the country.
Divisional winners play for the national Champion of Champions Cup Final and all teams compete for the Annual Challenge Cup. Fair play and respect are also nurtured through our monthly awards scheme.
FA SANCTIONED LEAGUE
We are proud to be an FA Sanctioned League. Offering our member clubs a
weekly games programme within a
developmental environment.
GOLDEN BOOT
The top goal scorer within each division will be recognised for their goal scoring ability with a golden boot trophy.
CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS FINAL
The divisional champions within the Southern and Midlands will play head to head in the Champion final.
SEASON DATES
The league starts in September and completes in May.
LEAGUE CHALLENGE CUP
We provide our member clubs the opportunity to enter into a national cup competition.
RESPECT & FAIRPLAY
The member clubs within each division that show the best respect and fairplay on and off the pitch have the
opportunity to be awarded with a sports voucher.
The chance to put your skills and knowledge into practice, allowing you to focus on your studies alongside.

Being part of the Youth Development League is a great tool to enable you to progress players of all levels within your academy, with competitive and structured football. You can enter more than one team to help with player rotation and you will be able to make use of FA Full Time to stay on top of latest news, results and upcoming fixtures.
