Regular competitive football is perhaps the most important aspect of a young player’s development,
but only if it fits alongside their educational studies.

Our experience working with football academies across the country led us to uncover a common dilemma. Academies risk losing their developing players before they make it to first or second team action, due to a lack of structured competitive matches for players of their level.

The Youth Development League does not discriminate, it offers players of all levels within an academy the chance to put their education into practice each week.

Over 65 member clubs, 70 teams and 2000 players currently compete in the league and our plans don’t stop there, we are aiming for even bigger and better things.
